Ancient Healing Practices

God is not against medicine or doctors. He is not only our healer, He is the great physician, and he knows everything about medicine.

The apothecary arts were used in medicine in ancient times for their ability to cross the blood brain barrier, a concept that some scientist and doctors are just now beginning too understand.  The blood brain barrier system in our bodies was again discovered by scientist about 100 years ago. Injection of blue dye into the animals blood stream turned it blue except for the spinal cord and the brain. The blood brain barriers purpose is too protect our body from viruses and bacteria that travel through our blood stream.  When these pathogens cross over from the blood stream into the brain a serious disease like multiple sclerosis, brain cancer, or autoimmune disease starts. The blood brain barrier tries to protect the brain from hormones and neurotransmitters that leak from the brain into the blood stream. When that happens the body turns against itself.   Cedar wood contains the highest concentration of sesquiterpenes, which have the ability to pass through the blood-brain barrier and oxygenate the brain directly when inhaled through the nasal passages and the olfactory nerves. It's been suggested that cedar wood oil might prevent senility and Alzheimer's disease.  Cedar wood contains 98% sesquiterpenes which deletes misinformation written in the DNA as a result of trauma, abuse, loss and generational. Sesquiterpenes are considered the antidepressant in this valuable aspect. Many diseases were healed using essential oils in ancient times because they could cross the blood brain barrier, and were highly antiviral and antibacterial. Essential oils were also useful because of there chemical constituents and hormones that are like humans, giving them the ability to stimulate brain functions. Each cell in our body communicates with other cells using an electrical response system. This system is stimulated by essential oils.

In the Old Testament, God told his prophets how to purify the body from disease using essential oils.  In Numbers 19:18-19, notice the words purification. A clean person would take hyssop and dip it in water and sprinkle it on the tent, and on the persons in the tent who were unclean and had touched a dead body, bone or slain thing, or grave. Then the clean person would sprinkle the tent for a total of seven days. On the seventh day the clean person would sprinkle himself and wash his clothes and then bathe himself, and he would be clean and purified. If someone refused to purify themselves God would cut him off from the congregation, and anything he touched would be unclean, (Num 20-22). This is how the apothecary arts was used to cleanse the body of the virus and bacteria that worked against the persons body, along with prayer.  In Lev 14:1-7 A person with leprosy would be healed from it with the use of cedar wood and scarlet thread and hyssop. scarlet thread was a symbol of prayer and forgiveness of sin, which meant a covenant relationship with God. Cedar oil is very high in sesquiterpenses chemicals and can kill pathonogenic viruses. In Esther 2:12    Notice the words purification. Esther’s beauty treatments were prescribed by law using myrrh, SWEET ODORS OF INCENSE, and perfumed sweet oils. Used for six months, and then she would be purified. Purified from viral disease, bacteria or infection. The ancient doctors believed that a lot of sickness was caused from viruses.   Ancient Jewish laws required purification rituals; laws that required women to purify their bodies after menses stage, child birth, sexual relations, ancient medicine techniques, animal sacrifices, and the preparation of the Sabbath food. Essential oils were at the heart of the purification rituals. The Jewish people took a ritual bath called a mikvah. Our modern baptismal ritual ascends from purification rituals and so did the practice of anointing.

Purification rituals were used in ancient cosmetics, (Esther 2:12). In medicine, (Jeremiah 8:22), and in perfume and incense. Purification was also practiced by Jews who were employed to write the scriptures, practiced before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement; at Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets or known as the Jewish New Year Celebration; and practiced at the Sabbath; notice John 11:55-56. The priest performed purification rituals before entering their call; before the priest could enter the holy temple he had to bathe in the pool outside the temple entrance. Located in front of the altar. It was called the bronze sea pool, (2 chronicles 4:6). Built by
Hiram a worker of bronze, (1 Kings 7:13-14). It was 41/2 meters wide and 15 feet in length. It was supported by12 oxen, 12 lions and 12 Cheribums. The laver in the temple was used by the priest to wash and bathe their hands before making animal sacrifices. In Psalms 51:7 David states, " Purge me, meaning purify me, with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." Jews believed in purifying their bodies every so often from viruses and bacteria. It was also a preventative medicinal practice. In Exodus 12:22, God sent an airborne viral plague against the Egyptians. The Jews were told by Moses to take hyssop and blood, (the blood being the symbol of Jesus sacrifice), and place it on the lintel, (the top of the door), and two side post. NONE WERE TO GO OUTSIDE. If a person went out, they would die. The hyssop plant is very antiviral and antibacterial. It protected the Jews houses from the virus. Stepping outside the house meant that the medicine of the plant would not cover the person. Priest and prophets were often trained physicians. Moses was a trained physician according to historians. He knew about medicine. He was brought up by step parents who were pharaohs in Egypt, and he was allowed to be influenced by his Israelite parents.

INCENSE

Incense has medicinal benefits as well, it helps relieve stress and stimulates the brains functions. Remember the scripture in Proverbs 27:9, "Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart." Perfume means through smoke. Wood releases its medicinal benefits into the air. Incense was used by priest in the Old Testament to kill airborne viruses in the temple. God did not want any germ, bacteria or virus in his temple.Incense was used by French hospitals in 1870 to kill the virus of small pox. The virus became a pandemic to the people of France. Juniper wood was burned in many of its hospitals to protect the hospital staff from viral infection, according to Dorland’s Illustrated Medical Dictionary. Incense was used during cosmetic beauty treatments in the kings courts.  It is believed by many that the apothecary arts were started by ancient Egyptians. The balm of Gilead was one of the most important healing balms made during the Old Testament times. The knowledge of the healing balm was forgotten about several times during early history. The prophets that carried the knowledge about it, who were also trained physicians, lost the healing recipe several times. The balm is associated with Jesus himself because He said that He was the Lilly Of The Valley. The Lilly is one of the ingredients in the healing balm.

Anointing and the secret Bible code for the balm Of Gilead Anointing was part of Jewish ancient purification rituals and part of the ancient medicinal healing practices. There are three anointing oils mentioned in the Bible. Sacred holy anointing oil, (Exodus 30:22); the oil of joy, (Isaiah 61:3); and the balm of Gilead mentioned in Jeremiah.  Some people believe that the sacred recipe mentioned in Exodus 30:22, was not used after Mosesdied. Psalms 89:20 states, "I have found David my servant, with my holy oil have I anointed him." In Psalms 92:10, David said that he would be anointed with fresh oil and he would see the desires of his heart come to pass.  Someone had to make the holy oil fresh. The main parts of the body that were anointed; the forehead, temples, ears, hands, feet, and sometimes the belly. Anointing the right ear lobe was a symbol of obedience to God.  Anointing oil is the symbol of God’s power. Faith has to be used in prayer to make healing and mountain moving possible. Its not the oil itself. God did say that the oil was sacred and holy and whatever it touches will be holy.  He spoke over the oil. Whatever it touches will be holy because of his prophetic word spoken over it. God created everything in the universe with sound waves. Whatever he speaks is done; past, present and future. Sacred holy anointing oil was His for all generations. Jesus is the anointed king to come.

Some Factual Properties of The Oil.

Anti-Fungal
Fungal infections are a hot topic today, due to the overuse and abuse of antibiotics by most members of the medical profession; as we all know, antibiotics are first and foremost microscopic fungi. The molecular groups with the strongest antibacterial action are also active on fungi. However, treatment must be over a longer period.  Fundamental studies have also revealed the anti-fungal activity of alcohols and sesquiterpenic lactones.

Antiviral
The mad parasites of any and all forms of life, viruses give rise to pro-teiform pathologies, some of which medical science can do nothing to cure. Classic responses to these infections are very limited, so essential oils are a godsend in treating viral problems, from the most common to the most fearsome.  Molecules from many chemical families have shown an in-vitro antiviral activity, among them monoterpenols and monoterpenals.  The cineole – monoterpenol synergy is used to treat viral pathologies of the respiratory tract (widely seen in temperate climes). This synergy can be found in many essential oils that come from trees of the Myrteceae family; these have been known forever for their interest in the treatment of pulmonary diseases.  Another couple, linalool oxide – linalool (Hissopus off. var. decumbens) is also interesting for viral pathologies of the lower respiratory tract.  Ketones, and especially rare cryptone, have shown an interesting capacity to fight naked viruses.  Aldehydes, whether used internally or in the atmosphere, are good complementary treatments for patients with viral infections. Ethers are useful in some specific clinical cases.  Generally, viruses are highly sensitive to aromatic molecules, and some severe viral pathologies may show a vast improvement following their use. A fact of the highest interest, unearthed during fundamental research and clinical experiments: normal cells of patients under aromatic treatment seem to acquire a special resistance to viral penetration

Throughout the ancient recordings and writings of humankind, there are countless thousands of references to the then sacred oil of the Cedar tree. It's healing, cleansing, anti-viral, anti-fungal and therapeutic properties have been studies and used since before the time of Jesus on Earth.

It is only in more recent times that the countless range of features and benefits of this truly unique essential oil have been scientifically studies and mastered, to be formulated and fractionated in ways that were previously thought impossible.  The results are now speaking for themselves through the testament of a great many individuals.  This oil of the ancients is truly a masterpiece of Mother Earth.
